And yet I didn't see a single rabid CFer exclaiming that their pets were better than kids. Maybe you should look into getting some rabies shots for yourself.

I'm a CFer who's not to fond of cats, either (I know, blasphemy!). I love dogs, but I do not consider them "kids", and I think dressing them up is sort of creepy. Some people do feel the need to "nurture", some of us don't, though.
