I live in a community in Canada where English might as well be the minority. I serve a lot of customers with poor English and more often than not broken or at least simplified English is a whole lot more helpful than proper speech. Honestly if their English is that poor, they won't know it well enough to be offended. :P

(I realize it's probably not helpful if they're trying to learn English, but I figure they're not there to learn from me, just to buy stuff. But still.)
