He was a dumbass 13 y/o who didn't grasp the consequences. I'm not one to coddle addicts, but either he made a really stupid decision at a young age or there were outside influences that pressured him into it. No one who goes into drugs writes an explanatory essay about it, so there's no point in going 'I wonder why a 13 y/o kid did that..."

Well since he was a drug user before he ever got into acting this question applies to everyone who's ever used an illegal drug.

Yes, than cigarettes. I've seen people on hallucinogens and look down on them much, much more than I do smokers. Oh and have fun chewing into your arm if you get some bad shrooms.

DA. Oh, good lord - what's with the attitude? I don't do ANY drugs (no, not even cigarettes or alcohol), and somehow I manage to not spend my days "looking down" on other people.

I feel more sorry for the people dying of emphysema than I do for the people with bite-marks on their arms. Emphysema is a horrible disease that I have heard chapter and verse about because my grandfather died from it.

When you're 13, it's ALL illegal. (Er, I guess I'm not sure if that's true everywhere. I know for alcohol it is true in many places. Not sure about cigarettes. But Monteith was Canadian so that applies - all illegal at 13.)
