Re: Body-snatching/possession in TV or movies?

X-Files had Small Potatoes and Dreamland, with shapeshifting and body-swapping, respectively. In Potatoes, the actors portray the shapeshifter in their body, while Dreamland takes the slightly uncommon route of the main body-swapped pair continuing to portray themselves, with only their reflections showing what everyone else sees. There's a couple scenes with another body-swapped pair where the actors, who are physically and character-wise polar opposites, portray the other's personality, though, and it's very effective.

Small Potatoes is quite good and acted well; Dreamland is... eh, and I think would have been strengthened some by having the main actors switch characters.

There's also the movie Face-Off, which shows that Travolta's hamminess and Cage's cheesiness can effectively swap places :P It's not subtle character work or anything, but I could buy into their performances for all the action flick it is.
