7. Twilight is pretty boring, I'll give you that, but HDM is awesome, I love Harry Potter and it's been my addiction for years, but that doesn't mean I'm going to shun all other books. Did you really try it and hated it?, because if you did it's okay, but if you0're simply refusing to read them out of some sort of twisted Harry Potter fan pride then you don't know what you're missing.
25. Sakuno love, ♥ seriously I need at least one female character on any fandom to get into it, if there are only men and not a single woman/girl I simply can't watch/read.
And she's so sweet and terribly shy I just want to hug her.
Regarding 7
(Anonymous) 2007-10-02 03:30 am (UTC)(link)THANK YOU for not jumping down my throat like everyone else on the comments did!
Re: Regarding 7
What's wrong about thinking a book is better than some others?, people who go HDM > HP are doing the same so why do they feel they have the right to judge you?.
The problem is really with newer children's books
Yeah, I'd had that same problem with fantasy books most of all, aside from HDM and HP I haven't been able to find anyother fantasy books [that aren't more than fifty years old that is] that can captivate me the way those series did, and there is just so many times one can re-read the Hobbit.
Anything I've tried bores me to death, sometimes I'm afraid that this is it, no one will write a good fantasy book ever again and I'll have to set for the ones that are already written.
