Random Question of the Day: The Haunt of choice.

[personal profile] mekkio 2013-07-22 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
You are a ghost. (Boo!) The upside is you can haunt any one place or person. (Yeah!)

So, who do you haunt and why?

(P.S. Sorry for the pun. Couldn't resist.)

I would haunt the Congressional building. You know, throw things or maybe scream when someone tried to do something stupid or evil or both.

One of the better squares in Savannah, GA. If I'm going to haunt something, it might as well be pretty with old oak trees.

I love Savannah. Excellent choice!

A library. A nice, big, architecturally-awesome one with lots of variety in books.

My home. I'd want to be somewhere I feel safe and comfortable. Also people I love, blah, blah.

But what about when they die? Would you still love the people who live there but are not your direct family? Would you sic Beetlejuice on them? Would you start spooking them on your own?

Didn't really think about that. Either my family become ghosts with me, I've passed on too, or it doesn't matter where I'll be because I will be equally lonely.

If I got stuck there I don't see why I would push out the new people unless they were doing illegal shit or beating their children or something. As long as they're nice I can't find myself caring. I'd be too wrapped up in oblivion.

When they die they can become ghosts too and we'll haunt the place together.

My best friend and I have a pact to haunt each other actually, and if we die together I think the plan is to team-haunt his boyfriend. I guess if I'm the last one alive out of us three, I'd haunt my local mall because it has a Gamestop and a comic shop, and I could try on all the clothes I could never fit into when I was alive, plus have access to soft pretzels.

Empress Hotel in Victoria, BC. Always wanted to know if it's actually haunted. Maybe the ghosts are more likely to show themselves to other ghosts? ;) And if it's not already haunted, I'd be there anyway to fill in the role!

I was going to say the Royal BC Museum, not too far from the Empress (think it's the Pacific Fairmont now, btw). Shall we meet for afternoon tea in the afterlife, kyuusei??? :-P

Sounds like an afterlife date! I hope there's biscuits too. ;)

(Oh man, if it really did change names, I'd be surprised. It's been the Empress for aaaages - I only moved a year ago and it was still the Empress, so that'd have been quick, too.)

The campus of my old college. I have a sentimental attachment to it, it's really pretty, it has several old libraries and buildings to haunt, there's plenty of people around, and all in all I think it'd be cool to give people some interesting stories to tell about it. A little folklore.

A big famous church in rome. Or wherever Pope's live. It'd be hilarious

A musical theatre building where they rotate the show every month. So like Seattle's 5th Ave Theater vs something on Broadway where the same musical gets the same building for years and years and years.

Or maybe a super famous concert hall like the Royal Albert Hall. That'd be fun.

Or the Paris opera house. Then I would literally be the Opera Ghost. Mwahahaha...

I'll haunt a personal computer so I could use the internet and use photoshops and watch movies and play games and stuff.

But let's say I suck at being a ghost, and I can't even manipulate anything myself the way Ghost taught me. I'll haunt a fandom person so I can read fanfic over her shoulder. Oh man she better have good taste in ships.

Disney World. You wouldn't have to wait in line, there'd always be something to do, and it's very unlikely that it'd be demolished and you'd be stuck in a strip mall or something.
