They may just be worrying about lens flare in pictures and videos. I know I have to tilt my head just right or take off my glasses to get a picture.

Also, a lot of people who wear prescription glasses don't need them full-time. Sometimes they're just for reading or doing delicate work.

I like Danny more too, but that's okay because I'd rather see Jon doing his own videos anyway.
