I loved the movie but I thought it was at its weakest when it was consciously trying to be funny. The scientists were weird and for me didn't really fit into the movie. I had the feeling they were kind of added as an afterthought - as in "oh hey, we still need some ~scienists~. I get it that it was all one stereotype next to the other - that was the whole point of the movie. But they were so OTT that I couldn't really watch them.
The dub didn't help. They sounded a lot like Sheldon Cooper and Leonard Hofstadter (didn't have the same voice actors but still, the way they talked reminded me a lot of the BBT dub). Maybe it would have been better in the original version.

Mind you that like 0.1% of this community has seen whatever dub you're referring to - I personally didn't see any BBT likeness at all.

I know, but since that was the impression I got while watching, it was very hard to ignore. I only mentioned it because maybe in the original, those two are not as annoying as the dub made them.
