And a year or two ago I when I was helping someone with their glitched game of Mass Effect I noticed they were on the planet Casca, a side-quest planet, after less than two seconds of shitty video.

I probably couldn't do that now either. Nor would I want to. I blame mine on having five playthroughs at the time.

The fact is it's useless information. I really fucking hope they're using their elastic brains for something more important than the name of an episode. I fucking hope they need to google that instead of something they can actually use. So yes, I support the use of google on all things that are too stupid to remember. I mean, I hope they're not, say, forgetting that Pacific Rim has giant robots in it if they watched it because wow, it was kind of pointless for them to watch the movie if they found it so uninspiring they forgot so much of it, but I'm not going to expect them to remember what the Russian couples' names were. I mean, their names were said, what? Once?

Plus, even if it is something important maybe they just don't know it yet and there should be no shame in googling it. There's no shame in forgetting something just because you're young.

I don't know. I hope they're using their brains, sure. But I think it's stupid to use it for something so pointless and something I can easily replicate by using google. I also think there is no shame in using google to get information. That's what it's for.

So please, don't weep for humanity. It doesn't need your sympathy in this case.

Edit: Wow I just reread what I wrote and I sound like a complete and utter ass. I'm sorry for being a jerk, anon. I really am.

Edit 2: I feel super bad.

AYRT

LOL no worries you didn't sound that jerky. ;-) I get what you were trying to say, I do agree to some extent. I should also have added that I wish I could still do that, but with more important things, obviously. :-)

Well I'm glad you weren't upset by my buttheaditude.

Ah, good to know. I wish we call had better memory. I would be great for when I need to remember where I left important things.
