Some people look at you really weird when you say you play Pokémon, but my tendency has been to side-eye them in turn for being judgey. (Also, I know immediately that those are not people I want to be pursuing as friends, or spending a lot of time with if I can help it.) Because really, there is NOTHING to be ashamed about. I find the attitude that as humans we're supposed to "outgrow" certain hobbies really stupid and I treat it with scorn when I see it.
