We're not used to any kind of adverse weather over here tbh. Too hot? OMG WE'RE MELTING. It doesn't help that there is little to no air con in any of our buses or trains so using public transport is like being in an oven. Too cold? WHAT IS SNOW? WHAT DO WE DO? Public transport goes into critical meltdown and grinds to a halt because apparently we've never seen it before. We're better with wind and rain, though beware leaves on the tracks.

But mostly yes we're like dying flies over here since we're really not used to lots of heat.

That sounds awful. What do yall think when you here about places like the USA where we have droughts, earthquakes, 5 feet of snow, ice storms, dust storms, hurricanes, tornadoes?

It's more that we have a relatively temperate climate so when we do get extremes in either direction we seem to forget how to deal with it and claim that it's the worst ever since [insert year number here]. Most of the time it's overcast or raining which is business as usual.

I honestly don't really know how to even imagine the kinds of extreme weather you get, especially things like earthquakes, hurricanes and tornadoes. I see them shown on TV and I understand generally that they're bad, but I don't really understand just how scary they are because I've never experienced one first hand. Us Brits love to complain about the weather but really we have it pretty easy since we don't get any of the scary shit, and it really does seem like a lot of it is pretty terrifying(I cannot begin to imagine being caught in a hurricane). The five foot of snow at least seems cool from a snowman building perspective.
