I broke up with my first boyfriend as age 13 after I caught him sneaking into my grandma's house and stealing her collectible quarters.

My grandma kept them in these little books. And he tried to steal like 6.

God, that's hilariously lame. Makes you wonder what he's doing now.

I don't know. Honestly, I don't even remember his name because he moved away like a year later.

Broke up with a girlfriend at Uni.

And I could not stop laughing.

Literally bent double, uncontrollable can't pause for breath laughs.

It took like ten minutes for her to realise I was serious.

I don't even know why. I've never reacted that way to nervousness/stress before or after.

I've only had that happen to me twice. I think uncontrollable, stress-induced laughter can be an occasional thing.

I started laughing when a guy dumped me once. I was actually pretty broken up about it, but I'd realized the relationship was doomed and seeing the axe finally fall was such a relief compared to waiting for it to happen, and the relief came out as laughter.

"I want to break up because I realized last night I'm a misogynist." Because, apperantly, his mother pissed him off. [To make it even more odd/funny/sad - he was in his 20's.]

At that point I just asked for my stuff back and never spoke to the bastard again.

Wow. What a dick :/

Yup. But to fair, he was an ass when we were together too, so it's not that surprising.

Pretty much my [and a few mutual friends'] reaction as well.

I only have three break-up stories. One is typical high school sob-sob tragedrama, one was fucking terrifying (he tried to choke me), and one was lame as hell (long-distance relationship, and he broke up with me via e-mail). So, not much funny there.
