"Professional Author" - at least when it comes from someone who obviously wants it to be their full time job.

The only other time I've really winced was someone who, literally, had so little empathy for people they started making fun of someone who'd attempted [and yes, failed] to kill themselves...and were planning on going into a field where they'd most likely end up working with several people with mental illnesses.

Yeah, it seems straight-up insane to talk about making it as a creative professional without also having a plan for a side career as well.

Nope, it was a guy at HCC.

For what it's worth, he was going into the criminal justice actually, but considering that the three biggest providers of mental health care in the US are jails? Yeeeah, probably going to run across more than a few mentally ill people.
