Haha, yeah, Nia would be a really cute name, but somehow, Lagann's so much better for a car. Maybe for something smaller and less....GAR XD

22. But...part of the reason I like Snape is that he's a bitter asshole. >.> It's part of what makes him interesting. He was a sad, angry, selfish, bitter bastard who worked for the greater good. And I wouldn't have him any other way.

I agree that idealizing him is silly, though. Sometimes I feel like the only one who likes him for his flaws. ):

As I said- Oh it's true Harry ended up with mentors and the like and actual friends, but that's because from the beginning he made good choices. From the beginning Snape made bad ones.

Harry had friends and mentors because he made good choices on his own from the beginning. He accepted those people and their friendship, he actively disapproved of Draco in Diagon Alley before he ever met Ron (who he later chose over Draco again). Before Hogwarts, he showed no signs of being a poorly adjusted kid who doesn't know what's right and wrong, despite his abusive upbringing. Harry made the choice himself to fall in with the right crowd, and that was before he got close to anyone.

The teachers didn't like him much because he was a Proto Death Eater. Can you blame them? I don't think they disliked him because he was anti-social and homely.

As for affection as a baby. How do you know Snape didn't? I don't recall Snape having much of anything against his mother. He even took his personal nickname from her. Do you think she ignored him as a baby? I don't buy that and I think it's drawing a lot of conclusions based on assumption. Harry didn't at all know he had been loved greatly for the first eleven years of his life, which goes back to my first italicized statement.

1. Oh god, I love you. Not because I hate slash and het (orz I'm actually a slash fangirl), but because YOU hate it. If that makes sense. JUST KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU. ))):

8. ... That last picture. The one with the girl and the boy. Ya know, doin' it? T-that's kinda creepy. Because they're both SMILING. Like they're having THE BEST TIME EVER. On a carnival ride or something. Wtf is up with that?

13. Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks he looks kinda-sorta like Gokudera.

23. I watched it up until Nia came, and then it... kinda got boring. -shot-

34. For what it's worth, I forgive you.

19. Ah, Iria! I think I still have the tape I used to record it on somewhere around here. It took me ages to find a place that sold DVD copies of it though.

Otaku shows = shows that generally appeal to otaku rather than mainstream audiences. Haruhi, Lucky Star, etc. The anime equivalent of a "cult hit." if you will.

LOL, okay, maybe I'll watch it. I've been pretty bored with anime since the end of Code Geass season 1.

27. I feel for you, and I'm sorry you feel like you're closed in a coffin. But the point of the end of the series was that Utena tried to help save Anthy, but could only go halfway; to truly get out of her coffin, the power to save Anthy ultimately lied within Anthy herself. Good luck.

I don't get the appeal of that series either. Though I admit I've only seen it up to episode #15 now, watching this show is starting to feel like a chore to me. Its plot moves slowly, I hate how everything has a magical and sudden conclusion like an old Saturday morning cartoon show, and my biggest irk is the way its animated.

Seriously, if it wasn't for the occassional Yoko fanservice in episodes I would've dropped this show long ago.

36. OMG. I loved that movie. :D ♥

37. My first LJ RP character ever was KH Donald.

Also, if someone uses that fucking excuse, tell them this:

But seriously, it is true. The non-KH characters are Disney property, NOT SQUARE. So that excuse makes no sense.

Oh damn, I rented that movie at the store for ages until I found it on VHS elsewhere nd I loved it way more than Disney Snow White mostly because that Snow White wanted me to rip off my ears.

So TOTALLY glad I'm not the only one who thinks that way.

I squealed like crazy when he first showed up in KH2 and then promptly reloaded my save game so I could get to that point and see it again.

Honestly, though, if your friends would not..be..friends with you because you don't like it, they must not be good friends

You beat me to it!

OMG, thank you, THANK YOU!
You know, before Deathly Hollows I was pretty much indifferent to Snape, but then all of the sudden people were claiming he was this tragic hero who was doomed from the beginning and now I can't fucking stand him. And the fangirls have to trash everybody in order make Snape even more godly, seriously, from what some of them say about James you would think he's the real villain.

EPIC WIN

I sorry D: ♥ But, honestly, it's true. If your friends dump you because you're not into the same things, then they're retarded. I'd never dump you for liking the things you like, and not liking my things, hon ♥

THIS PRIME EXAMPLE OF A FRIENDSHIP. LET ME SHOW YOU IT.

29. That game totally made me bawl. I loved it. My Mudkip and Torchic partners made me feel all fluffy inside.

If there were ever a Mystery Dungeon RP, I'd join that in a heartbeat.
