Case, can I ask why this made the failbar? (I ask politely, with much bowing, &c.) It is a secret because, were I to post "Icky slash everywhere I tuuuuuuurn!" I would be flamed to a solid crisp, LOL.

It may be due to the wording of the secret itself. Instead of saying what you did, "I enjoy TBC but the fandom disheartens me. Why? I like and support the only canon couple whereas everyone else seems squicked by the het couple," may have avoided the fail bar.

Okay that's rather verbose and probably not even what you intended but I hope you understand what I was trying to say. :/

Probably because it's not worded as a secret. It's saying something about the fandom, but OP isn't "confessing" anything.

So, you say you would get flamed for the opposite of your sentiment, so the opposite of your sentiment would be a secret. Doesn't that in itself imply that your sentiment is the default and therefore not a secret?
