A lot of us don't hold her up as a perfect role model, but rather as someone we can relate to. She's bossy, know-it-all, jealous, a bookworm. Kinda sounds like me, to be honest. THAT's why I consider her a role model - she has a lot of my good and bad aspects but STILL manages to be a bona fide hero.
