Heh. That's the internet for you: flaming right left and center for supposed politically correct reasons without stopping for thought, along with an unbelievably condescending attitude.

Have you noticed the exact same kind of automatic trolling that happens whenever the topic of race or gender appear on the horizon? Don't get me wrong, I am very sensitive to race and gender issues myself, but I really wish some people would get a grip on themselves before descending into hysteria. /rant

Back on topic, I just spent a few weeks in several Polynesian islands where I was given several lei and yes, taught how to make them, so I was nodding along as I read your comment about tourists!
