I don't really get this, either, but I am aware that it bothers people and I try to avoid it. It isn't easy for me because I worked for the government for a long time and we were required to say "female" and "male" instead of "woman" and "man" and it's a regular part of my speech now. But it's only in some internet places that people get upset and in RL it's still better for me to say "female" and "male" so I usually just try to avoid the issue online.

Funny story there. I worked a reception desk for a while after finishing college, and this one time, I had a woman go FUCK NUTS at me for that very thing.

I mean spitting at me, throwing chairs, hurled a glass pitcher of water we kept in the waiting area at my fucking head, screaming and swearing, the works. Fuck Nuts I tell you. Now I just can't take seriously the SJW's who insist that the term 'female' is harmful. I remember how harmful nutcases can be instead.

Exactly. It's another SJW thing because they thrive on getting outraged over nonissues. They avoid real issues like the plague because they can't fix them by ranting about them. Imaginary issues are perfect for them because they only exist as long as they want them to.
