Re: Easy Readers

Despite not wanting a tablet, I wound up getting a Nexus 7. I like the idea of the Paperwhite and other straight-up eReaders, but the screens bother me, especially when "turning" a page (plus now I can read my comics, too.) I also played with a Kindle Fire a little and I didn't really hate it, but it definitely didn't feel as nice. Also I like the fact that the Nexus is just an Android tablet and it's not bogged down with Amazon's shit.

Asus or Google or whoever are actually phasing the current 16GB model out (they actually announced the new one recently, right after I got mine,) so that could help with cost. I got mine for $60 less than what I was expecting to pay.
