Yeah, someone can be straight and want more gay characters because it is the right thing to do. However, that is not what I'm seeing. I'm seeing "I think these two guys together are so hot/so perfect for each other. Why aren't they canon? *pout*"

As a queer person, I often feel uncomfortable reading a lot of what people say about their ships. Not that lesbians are as fetishized in fandom as the males are, but still...
