You know, I read a timeline of her breakdown yesterday, and I'm actually making conspiracy theories. I've seen some pretty bad mental illness (and quite similar to hers) in my day, but I've never seen someone break down so spectacularly in such a relatively short time and at that age.

I don't know all the details though. My theory is that she was either already diagnosed, functioning fine but went off hers meds for whatever reason, or someone is poisoning her. Seriously.

Isn't she in her 20s? And isn't that typically when schizophrenia first starts to manifest in a lost of cases? Seems pretty legit if that is indeed what she's been diagnosed with.

She's 27, which is not way out there to start presenting mental health problems, but IME you usually start seeing the beginning of problems like that in the teens and early twenties.

Certain mental illnesses like schizophrenia have a much later onset in women than in men. For women, the average age of onset of schizophrenia is around 25 so if that is what she has then she's pretty much on track.

DA and not really familiar with this case, but there was a thread about her recently on GC and I could have sworn someone linked to some articles about how she had been showing signs for a while, though some weren't made public at the time. And that her parents or maybe doctors had thought for a while she might be Schizophrenic but the doctors had to wait a certain time before they could diagnose her.

Didn't she have some weirdness a couple years ago, though? I remember some "I'm quitting acting/LOL JK NOT QUITTING/No rly quitting now"-type stuff. Nothing like what she's going through now, but it might have been a crack in her facade.

It's not like the general public sees/is aware of everything she does, though. She's not some A-list celebrity who's every single action and word is reported. The people who know her are the ones who would see the things that could help a doctor diagnose a mental illness.

It's late in the post so I doubt anyone will see this, but whatever.
