This series means a lot to me. It helped keep my love of reading alive, and my mom got me the set as a gift. It hurt that this was seen as abnormal. It makes me scared that my likes - subtle as they are - are going to keep me alone. That, or I'll have to keep everything I love hidden the rest of my life.

Hi Transcriptanon! I noticed you missed some of this secret, coming before the part you have transcribed. I've taken the liberty of transcribing it below:

The guy I last saw found my Wishbone DVD set in my collection when he stayed over. The disdain in his voice made it sound like it was the worst thing I could ever own (but his extensive tentacle porn collection was the most normal thing in the world). This "relationship" didn't last, obviously.
