But I think this is an excellent launching point! F!S, why don't we talk about times we've gotten here early and decided to come back when there was more activity? Or do you generally stick around? Do you start threads, or lurk until someone else starts them? Ever gone away and come back to find that you missed the party?

Yeah I do that too, especially if it was a conversation I was involved in and I want to see if I got any responses. Or sometimes if I get home late I will be around during the dead hour, making silly overly tired comments. In case anyone was wondering.

I like to be logged in so I get the comment replies to my email without me having to remember if I posted or not. Then sometimes people share recipes and it's easier to search my email that way.

I come and I don't really leave. If I'm early I'm early. I just post what I want and then check back every so often. The tab is always sitting there though. However, the best way to get me to check back is to directly reply to me because I have my email up and it sends me notifications when someone does. I've actually missed things because I relied on that too much. I've talked to someone and not noticed wank raging in the secret above or something because I was only using direct reply.

Ah, yes. I like to read your comments and threads a lot, even if I don't always reply and I've seen that happen. I tend to refresh and go over the threads a lot and use multiple tabs but I've missed a lot of things too. There could be wank going on right now and I wouldn't know because I am actually having a lot of fun in this thread!

I usually don't get to reading FS until after 10pm PST. Frequently, not until 2-3am. By then, I have usually missed the party. ;)
