I always try and get here as soon as the post goes up b/c I can't stay on through the "peak hours" of the posting. I surf the previous day's post as I wait for the new one sometimes. I am sometimes surprised at which secret gets the most responses/discussion/wank. Though I am only rarely ever involved in any

Yeah I do that too, especially if it was a conversation I was involved in and I want to see if I got any responses. Or sometimes if I get home late I will be around during the dead hour, making silly overly tired comments. In case anyone was wondering.
