People are probably bound to think their favorite pairings have the most subtext (and I'm no different), so it's a pretty tough question. But! I'll love Zack/Cloud forever and ever, Jecht/Auron, and I also think Seifer had a thing for Squall. There's a lot more than those, of course, but they're my three favorites.

I always like Squall/Seifer, too. in a sorta teenage guys love/hate sexual experimentation obsession sort of way (is that even a way? lol). frankly Squall had more sexual tension with Seifer than he did Rinoa.
