I was a bit hesitant to watch the NC when he came back, since I thought it was time to retire the character, but I do really enjoy the new stuff.

But I still enjoy the reviews he does as himself the best. Doug is a really good critic and even when I don't agree with his opinion (for example, Moulin Rouge is one of my favourite movies and not even remotely as a guilty pleasure) he articulates them well enough that I can see where he's coming from. I have been absolutely loving the Avatar vlogs.
