Enya is the bee's knees. Seriously, musical acts in the "New Age" genre that don't put you to sleep with how boring they are are so precious and rare, why bash the ones that are actually good.

(Other non boring acts: Enigma, Era, Cusco, Deep Forest. Go listen to cool stuff, people!)

Oh, Cusco. Back in the '80's, I wrote to them and Clannad*, pretty much exclusively.



*Enya, for those who don't know, is Clannad's little sister.

I had no idea Enya was Clannad's little sister! Actually, I thought Clannad was the name of the group. I'm not very familiar with either of them but someone gave me a copied Clannad CD years ago when I was having trouble dealing with some trauma in my life and I would put it on when I went to bed. I never heard more than the first few minutes of the CD when I was awake but having it on repeat was the only way I could sleep through the night for a long time.

Clannad is the name of the band, but they're a sibling/family group. Enya is the little sister of some of the members. :D

That's very sweet. I'm glad the music helped!

I used to have a lot of folk rock/Celtic rock bands in my collection; Clannad and Pentangle were my favorites.
