As much as I like this series, I don't understand why it has such a ... fandomy fandom. I mean, jeez, they are constantly fighting and escaping being eaten, I doubt they have such free time for whatever goes on in people's headcanons, and most of the potential shipping is seriously disturbed obsessive behaviour.

I think that Titan is female, actually, considering Sasha addressed it as "ma'am," at least in the subtitles.

That one is called the Feminine Titan, and is called that only because it has obviously female anatomy. There are other female titans.

There are female titans but most of them don't have boobs or a typical feminine figure so most people assume that they are male.
