Probably troll. But I agree that I don't find the male beauty standard the USA tries to push in their mainstream movies/media that attractive. It's like every white guy with a bunch of muscles and a somewhat symmetrical face registers as "hot" nowadays. Just gotta be white and have a sixpack = sexgod.

I feel like that's the opposite of what OP is saying, though. Like, RDJ is rumpled-looking and older. So maybe OP is some kid who doesn't get why anyone would like older-looking men. Even ones with gorgeous brown eyes and a quirky little smile...

It is something about the Jawline on US "hot" guys that gets me. They all have a defined jaw, but super soft looking skin over it. It just plunges them straight into the uncanny valley.

To be fair, it's usually the case that hot is seen to be toned and buffed-regardless of ethnicity. Just got to be slim and buff=hot. Personally I can't stand the over-buffed look, once the ken-doll effect comes into place it's a turn off for me.
