Same here. I never knew he wasn't white. And same for Jason Momoa until recently. Honestly I never thought about it. It's kind of ridiculous to categorize people so rigidly as white or black or Asian anyway nowdays as there are so many people of mixed heritage. Of the people I work with I'd say over 60% are in mixed relationships who have kids with an incredible variety of looks.

I had the same reaction, but now that I think about it, it's not a hard mistake to make, considering the well-worn trend in Hollywood of lily-white actors playing "ethnic" roles with the help of a tan and some makeup.

Or maaaaaybe anon is from a part of the world where olive skin isn't considered "POC". Like Europe. Where suggesting that Italians and Spaniards are ~oh so different~ the way Americans treat Latino's will get you laughed out of town.
