Yeah, super boring.

Except for the part where I found out more bad news. My mom was wondering how things could get worse and then they got worse only two days later and I just have to laugh because, seriously? I'm expecting someone to actually be dead next time I get a call from my mom.

Got my Pacific Rim Mondo poster set and it's sweet as fuck. Mostly just laying around and watching Digimon, trying to forget how things really suck right now.

Went clubbing with people from work after getting up at 03:30 on friday.

Loved the pre-drinks and had a good laugh there, but srsly hate clubbing. Only saving grace was the lads talking up their game so much, then they all got shot down, and I was the only one to get anything with my awkward dads dancing and the girl making the approach. Was way too sober by the end of the night for this shit.

Crashed back home, then slept until a couple hours ago, so my sleep cycle is fucked.

Yeah pretty boring. Just reading a boatload of comics and whiling away the day. At least it's not too hot outside.

Hung out with my new aunt, managed to not complain about my uncles pretty awful English, watched my uncle and new aunt set up new support beams for the balcony, went to the mall and basically was bored....

Oh and right it is too hot! Seriously, where did all this heat come from? And can it go south where it belongs?

Am torn between constantly complaining and persuading myself that I shouldn't complain. I have a particular reason to be upset, but I think I really shouldn't be upset all over everyone around. There's no helping it and, in any event, it will go away in September.

Still, the day was cool. I made a friendship bracelet with beads, ate too much apple jam, read books about the Red Orchestra, and slept with a cat on my head.

Just got back from a trip. Drove 20 hours and unpacked a car for an hour. Got in at 6am and got up at noon. Still sleepy but laundry must be done.

Did I miss anything good drama or anything F!S? Any Night Vale discussions (if not I will totally start one Sunday)?

Secret 11 reminded me I'm going to have to draw a map of an island for a fanfic I'm writing so I don't confuse myself...

It's also very hot and humid here. :(

Yup. Randomly decided to play Viva Pinata for the first time in years (which was delightful, if somewhat tedious what with all the leveling of ground and watering of plants), had lunch, read fic, spent an hour+ trying to get one of the tv remotes to work...

Don't know where the rest of the time went tbh, but nowhere important, that's for sure.

I made about 600 kilometers in ten hours because it's that crazy weekend when half of France's population decide to go on a vacation. It was horrible.

I just got back from a small get-together at my best friend's house to celebrate the departure of her roommate from hell. We had a few drinks, let the horses graze in the now-empty front pasture for a while and took lots of pictures and videos of them and generally just chatted about random things. It was a lot of fun and was sorely needed by all of us, so I'm in a really good and peaceful mood despite my exhaustion. It's been a long time since I've had a day this nice.

Also I went yard-saling with my mom this morning and got ten DVDs and a bunch of stuffed toys for the dogs to disembowel, so that doesn't hurt, either.

Getting ready for a house inspection tomorrow.

They've been kinda inconvenient for us lately, bordering on breaching the contract but not actually breaching it. So I'm burning a lot of incense 'cause I know our inspection lady doesn't like incense.
