Am torn between constantly complaining and persuading myself that I shouldn't complain. I have a particular reason to be upset, but I think I really shouldn't be upset all over everyone around. There's no helping it and, in any event, it will go away in September.

Still, the day was cool. I made a friendship bracelet with beads, ate too much apple jam, read books about the Red Orchestra, and slept with a cat on my head.

No, it's when I'm going back to kindergarten. ...but what kind of problem could I have that would be eliminated if I went to school?..
