Oh come on, you have to admit that filming a fucking DOOR for hours on end essentially saying "yep, still nothing happening" while there's actual real problems going on in the UK was ridiculous. The way people were going on it was like the feel good factor of two strangers successfully reproducing as expect (who certainly don't give a shit about you) was going to cure all your problems. I don't agree with going out of your way to be horrible to people who enjoy these things, but people are allowed to be fed up of overkill.

CBC Newsworld also went with the doorwatch/babywatch, but they at least livened it up a little, by interviewing the way-too-overly-invested whackjobs who'd turned out en masse for the "vigil." XD That was seriously the best part. Like, THESE are the only people supporting the monarchy ? I'd go be hermit somewhere, if I was a monarch, if the only support/adulation I could get was insane people.
