Yesterday my brother's best friend told me I look like "that dragon chick from Game of Thrones". It's sad, but that made my week.

I dunno. I read a fix-it fic regarding the Cherno Alpha team from Pacific Rim that was nice. Most Pacific Rim fic is kind of meh to me, so that was a nice find.

Finally got all my documents together (i lost some for a while) so I can get my taxes done! Yay! Yeah, I missed tax season but because I'm 99% likely to get a refund, I won't be penalized (I would be if I owed money, however). I should get just under a grand at least, and I really need a new computer SO YAY.

I've been writing a fic! :o it's like magic or something

I went on a date with someone I've been attracted to for a while and it was a great time. We're going on another Monday night and we've had a bunch of lunch dates already. I think that for once my optimism about a relationship is based on reality instead of wishful thinking ;)

Sold my ACNL game. I was worried no-one would want it, but guess I was wrong :D

(game just didn't click with me, technically I could still return it but figured eh, why not give it to someone cheaper than store price)

I had really intense chemistry via goofy-grinned prolonged eye contact with a customer who had a kickass shopping list.

I finally watched Free!, after hearing all sorts of things about it. It's really fun!

I've only seen the first ep but I can't wait to get to the rest of it!

I saw Pacific Rim, my boyfriend baked me a birthday cake, I finished a 20k fic for a Big Bang, and I rediscovered the joys of coloring.

My brother's fiancee confessed to cheating on him this week and he ended the relationship. I feel guilty for being relieved/happy about it, but I am. She was systematically cutting us out of his life, to the point where we were about to be not invited to the wedding. She was always causing drama, making him feel like shit, making everything his fault, and all he ever did was pay for practically everything in her life and do all sorts of really thoughtful and loving things for her. I mean, this girl, I only met her once, and she hated us for no good reason.

I felt like shit for feeling relieved when he was sobbing in my couch like a part of him had been ripped out, but he's acting completely normal a few days later and he thought on why and decided she probably did him a favor. Honestly, he seems happier than he has in months, so. Still keeping an eye on him though.

Even so, it's still honestly great to have my brother back.
