Yeah he did! I didn't really post about it... I did a little reaction comic but that was all, I didn't want to look like a jerk about it lol... and anyway I don't know what the kosher way to handle that would be, since he PMed me. If he'd made a public post I would have probably reblogged it. Seems invasive to screencap a PM and put it on tumblr.

That's understandable and I think it's best that you kept it to yourself. IDK if he would've been offended or weirded out, but since he PM'd you instead of made the comment publicly that's the safest bet.

yeah it seemed best to me, too, regardless of people calling me a liar or whatever :P whatever else, I'll always know, at least, that George thinks my stupid little comics are, quote, "AMAZING" ;)

yep, someone called me a liar and I lost some followers within minutes after I posted that George was following me on Twitter (complete with passive-aggressive posts on their own tumblrs) :P Luckily I'm a jaded old bat and that kind of thing doesn't bother me much anymore. But yeah... fandom *sigh*

I have a feeling that some of those people think I badgered him until he replied to me..? Or that's what was implied. But he messaged me out of the blue so... too bad for them :P

Pfft, I don't see how that's unbelievable considering social media today and how easy it is for fans to interact with actors and actresses/writers/directors, that sort of thing. They're always getting linked to art or fic and some of them even look for it themselves. Oh people.

Yeah, he did, and it was the cutest thing ever because he was like "I'm going to follow you on here if that's okay..." as if I'd say "no go away you can't follow me"
so I have like 6 followers on twitter, but one of them is George Blagden LOL

and yes he is so ridiculously precious, every time he does anything I end up saying "awwwww". Asking permission to follow someone on twitter. Posting a pic of himself in a onesie. Getting really really excited about being able to ride a horse on the show. UGH.
