Since my taxes (albeit a tiny amount, but a tiny amount that would be better spent on needy people in my own country, or the arts, or better public transit, or AIDS prevention in Africa, or practically anything but inflating the wealth of people who have done nothing to earn it) will go to supporting this baby for the rest of my working life, I do feel that I have the right to opine on all the hoopla surrounding its birth.

With celebrity deaths, these particular people never really registered on my radar, but since I totally lost my shit when, say, Hunter S. Thompson or Elizabeth Sladen or Kurt Vonnegut died, I can totally sympathize with losing your shit over the death of someone you don't know but quite admire, and don't approve of anyone being obnoxious about not caring.
