Re: Vacations!
(Anonymous) 2013-08-04 01:00 am (UTC)(link)BUT. I wanted to share with you as regards the family visit/long drive, since my husband and I drove to Florida last Thanksgiving. It's a roughly 22 hour drive, and we went straight through both ways (apart from stopping to grab food, of course). The hotel we stayed at was not the best (weird smell; lights in the bathroom were wonky; staff didn't give a fuck); it was colder than expected; and my parents-in-law were a little...out there. But I got to meet my brother-in-law and his wife, who are fucking awesome, and I had some truly fantastic food.
