I JUST got that the "super" was from "Supernatural" I thought it was just for "generic superhero movies"

Somebody make some superwholock stuff except instead of Supernatural as the super, use Super Fly

I hate the idea of Superwholock. It's the cheesiest fandom thing ever.

Glad I'm not the only one.

I guess I'm not on tumblr enough but I don't even get how superwholock works.

Couldn't you just do your own thing and add elementary to it? Like maybe some people would get mad, but fandom gets mad at a lot of things and there might be a good amount of people who would like it.

I haven't seen Elementary, if I had I could help you out.

There are no rules on Tumblr -- you can do whatever you want and unless you follow and are following some real jerks, it's unlikely that anybody will give you any problems about it either.

And yeah, they could try and make their own to make it a thing. I know there are people who crossover the three current Sherlock Holmes stuff, sometimes throwing in Doctor Who. So, really, it's possible and I bet there are other people who want it too.

I haven't seen any of the shows except for a little of Doctor Who so I can't help either but... yeah. Good luck to the OP.

What IS SuperWhoLock, exactly? I get that it's a combo of those TV shows, but is it like a specific type of fic that's become all popular or something?

Mostly gif sets as far as I can tell where all three universes are merged. Sometimes they add Merlin too.

At least on Tumblr all that I see that it is is people proclaiming their blogs to be multi-fandom for those three shows, that's all. I have't seen very much crossover fic or anything like that.

It'll show up as a fic descriptor on AO3. Mostly it tells me I will have to look elsewhere for quality crossovers. :(

While I am a fan of Superwholock, I would take Sherlock out and put Elementary there instead. There would be so much more to work with! You can probably guess why this is a secret...

Cut out Supernatural and I'd totally be on board with that. But then I guess it would just be an ordinary Elementary/Doctor Who crossover.

(Unpopular opinion: I only hate Superwholock because I dislike Supernatural and Sherlock. I would love the tumblr megacrossovers if they involved fandoms I actually give a shit about.)

I do the exact same thing, but with House M.D. If that fandom weren't dead, I'd write the fic myself.

I mostly dislike SuperWhoLock for crossing SPN and Whoniverse. Very few people can put in enough explanation to make that work right.

You know what I want to read? SuperGrimmMentary. I don't even think the first two are quality shows, but I think a good ficcer could really make something special happen there. Just throwing that out there.
