idk, the cutie crusaders seem to be having a pretty tough time figuring our what their purpose in life is

also it's a cartoon whose target demographic is four year olds (even if it does appeal to people that are much older. and sometimes creepier). it's not really shocking that there isn't an episode where fluttershy can't find a job and becomes impoverished and turns to alcohol to cope with her problems. or when pinkie pie's partying ways catch up to her in the form of a cocaine addiction. there's nothing wrong with having happy cartoons where everything works out, there's plenty of time for children to find out how much life can suck. let them have a few nice years if they can
