I like the pairing well enough (not more than Sam/Dean, though) but mostly i don't like how it's written, because too many people don't write Castiel like i like to read him.

So - mostly i skip it.

How do you like him written? Because I feel the same way and never backspace faster than when I find a fic where he's super helpless/awkward/talks like Data, has no idea how to take care of himself or how people work. And that seems to be the popular fanon characterization, or at least it is in the rec blogs I've peeked into in the past.

YES! I hate that. He has his moments of confusion and fumbling but *come one*.

I like him written as an *angel*. An all-powerful being who has been alive for probably millions of years, who can kill you with a touch but who *isn't going to*.

Who might be puzzled by some things but who, once he's gotten into the nitty-gritty of human life, can have some surprising likes and dislikes. And desires.

You are just butthurt that there is not more bottom!Dean Dean/Castiel fic. Please stop with the self-awareness fail (a very common trait, I must say, among the Deangirls of this fandom)
