So... yesterday I was in a car accident. Car is fucking wrecked. I'm shockingly alive with only a head bump and a sore neck!

This is not the most fun thing financially but I got auto and health insurance, and the other guy in the accident is fine, so all things considered things are looking pretty good for ol noodly.

What's got you feeling alive/grateful/good right now?

Nothing, but I'm glad you're okay.

Glad you are okay! We had three wrecks in my family last month, thank God for insurance!

I'm starting a new job tomorrow. Hopefully?? They said I would be but I'm always worried it'll backfire somehow but if it doesn't then...I start a new job tomorrow YAY.

oh and i thought my car was broken but it wasn't a big deal it only cost ten bucks to fix

i've been losing weight

i only have two weeks left in my stupid public speaking class

i went to my family reunion and met homestucks there and all the old ladies said my hair was really cute

i found my miranda july book that i thought i lost

it's almost AUTUMN autumn is the best time

This is probably less 'feeling alive' and more 'feeling good,' but fitting into clothes that were too small for me 3 years ago. I lost weight during school, but it's... good to know I didn't gain it back, haha.

What year was your car?

Personally, I love modern cars. You can bang them up, drag them through hell and yet they are built to keep you safe inside. Like take for example, this car crash between a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu and 1959 Bel Air. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joMK1WZjP7g)

I used to think I wanted an old car because they were built like tanks but after seeing that video, it's modern cars all the way.

And I am glad that it was the car that was only totaled and not you!

I'm glad you're okay!!

I'm grateful I have a job that I enjoy. Yes other jobs might pay more, have better benefits, but I have a job and I truly enjoy what I do. (I'm a structural engineer)

I'm really glad you're okay. I would be really sad if anything super bad happened.

I'm feeling good because I'm applying for a job right now and everything seems to be working for me. Apparently I know more people in this system than I thought.

For my part I'm starting to finally feel like I'm over my ex, certainly not as heartbroken as I was a couple of months ago, and on top of that I've lost a load of weight from being heartbroken in the first place. Things are looking up.

I accidentally mixed meds (last night) so I'm a very groggy mood today.
(pain killers and sleeping pills, no danger. just really out of it and well sloooow on uptakes)

Seriously I was lucky I did not get messed up.

I found out yesterday that a man I like very much doesn't have cancer. I know it's not MY good news officially but you have no idea how happy I was for him and his wife :)

I'm still here and haven't given into my depression telling me that this is really more than I can handle. I spent a whole day (touch wood because the day's still going) enjoying myself outside without anxiety or depression interfering despite being scared shitless of leaving the house beforehand.
