That's exactly what I thought! If you want to jump in, a good stand alone like Hawkeye would be where you'd want to go to get your feet wet.

You're right. Anyone who can't figure out the few stand alone comics* from the seething mess of crossover comics that is marvel/dc is totes just lazy! /sarcasm

You do know that to someone whose a complete beginner to the comics Hawkeye would not be a logical assumption for a stand alone since the most likely thing they'd know him from is The Avengers, right?
