So I kind of feel like an ass now. Last night somebody made a (complimentary) post about me, so I left a reply (also complimentary) and when I came back today I noticed that they deleted the post. And now I'm realizing that they didn't realize I followed them and the post probably wasn't meant to be seen by me, so I guess I embarrassed the person by commenting. I didn't mean to! Ugh, the one time I try to socialize on tumblr...

I don't think you did anything wrong. In fact I think what you did was really nice! I mean, even if you didn't follow them they should know that anything you post on tumblr - ANYTHING - is public and anyone can see it.

You did nothing wrong. They overreacted. Don't worry about it.

On the bright side, at least you know someone likes you?
