Because... the writers double tag them? I know people in Teen Wolf tag their stuff with Teen Wolf and Teen Wolf RPF. I'm also unsure where that RPF would go. Is there even an RPF section?

Personally, I don't like it either but what you can do is start a search and single it out as something you don't want in your results.

That's how you filter out RPF within a fandom, but this is a different issue.

There is a separate category for RPF. Click on "Fandoms" in the top bar and it's on that list along with TV Shows and Movies, etc.

But if you click "TV Shows" from the top bar, there is a Teen Wolf RPF fandom listed right next to Teen Wolf. The RPF categories used to not show in the other categories, like TV Shows and Movies. This is a problem of AO3 no longer keeping RPF separate like they should.

Oh. Huh. Never saw that before. I see what you're talking about now.

...I thought you were complaining about actually coming across the stories. If you don't want to come across RPF then don't click on the links to where they are located?
