Really? Raven is reduced to "lol it's the voice of Twilight Sparkle", Cyborg is an asshole, Robin dumbed down and they've already died several times. One time they even got eaten. Another time they became literal ghosts.
How can you find that more interesting than the original? Funny, entertaining - ok. But interesting? Get out.

AYRT

I never said it was a better show. I said it was, "more interesting to me" which is highly subjective. And I think you're arguing semantics here because my definition of "interesting" includes entertaining.

You're right about the character development being better in the first show. Again, I never said it wasn't. I find the new show to be refreshing because it's unique to other superhero shows. Yeah, it doesn't have the deep characterizations, but it shows superheroes having fun and just being silly teenagers. It's not all about saving the world.

I was really exaggerating when I said I can't watch the old show anymore. It's just that I see it on Boomerang sometimes and forget that it's so serious. I feel like I really need to invest myself if I'm going to watch it while I can just mindlessly watch the new one for the entertainment value. That doesn't mean I don't still like the original show or recognize its merits. I just prefer the new show.
