No, he does different voices for different characters and sometimes he's really dark and spooky but other times he sounds like an excited tumblr user plus there's background music, and a music segment in the middle-ish (closer to the end; I personally don't like the music too much but you might). Actually one of my friends said she didn't like all the ~spooky~ effects he does and would be into it if he sounded more like NPR so...different strokes I guess?
