It's not at all the same thing

but I was playing Crusader Kings 2, and the king I was playing as at the time had a son and heir who was really good (he had character traits including Diligent, Brave, Kind, and Charitable, and pretty decent stats), and I married him to a young Breton duke's daughter who was also Brave and Kind, and I just got way too excited about the whole process of them being married, and then really disappointed when I didn't have an heir and I looked and saw that her opinion of him was low because "spurned", and then way too excited when I saw that their opinions were really high again and I had an heir and they were each other's lovers.

Crusader Kings is kind of a weird game.

the Harvest Goddess from Harvest Moon 64 and Flora from A Wonderful Life are old ones that are still current I guess

and I had a thing for Jasmine from Pokemon gold when I was twelve but I outgrew that because I think I'm too old for her now and frankly she's kind of annoying

I'm torn between Aela the Huntress, Karliah and Serana from Skyrim, Mia Fey (pre-corpsification) from Ace Attorney and Fang from Final Fantasy XIII. I also kinda have a crush on Fran from Final Fantasy XII, but she'd have to trim her fingernails first.

I love him so much that I get legit upset when people mod his face to look completely different from how it does originally. So you can imagine the heart attack I had when I saw what he looked like in DA2. I may never quite forgive Bioware for that.
