Eh? I see this complaint going around sometimes and I kind of see it but on t'other hand - I'm a queer SF fan and canon queer relationships in a genre I actually enjoy are really fucking rare. Canonically queer relationships involving POC are even rarer. As are queer characters that have arcs focused on things other than ~gay issues~. Off the top of my head I can't think of any other couples that check all of thoses boxes.

Cecil and Carlos are kind of a big deal.

...and that makes the feelings of those of us who don't like seeing what feels like every post focused on them less valid...how, exactly?
