1. My favorite episode is "A Story About You." I love, love, love how creepy it is. That last scene where it just cuts off gives me chills every time. And it is interesting to see Night Vale from an outsiders point of view, especially one who came from the outside.

2. My favorite characters (other than Cecil and Carlos) are the Sheriff's Secret Police. I just love how incompetent they sound and how they dress (short cape, blowdart chestbelt and tight leather balaclava). My second favorite is Khoshekh the cat. Because cats are awesome, especially floating ones whose meow is terrifying. :D

3. Favorite topic Cecil talks about? The missing interns. I love how non-chalant they are about it. And how often it happens. xD

4. My favorite quote is, “Whisper a dangerous secret to someone you care about. Now they have the power to destroy you, but they won’t. This is what love is.”

One of my favorite parts of the fandom is all the weird fanfic stuff. Tentacles, wings, and inhuman traits abound. :3 It isn't for every one, but it does make me happy. I do wish there were more serious fics. There is plenty of horror in the podcast, but there have been very little fics talking about this. I would also love more hurt/comfort fics (it is a favorite of mine), concerning things like re-education.

I don't really have a headcanon Cecil. All the tumblr variations are awesome. I love the idea of the moving tattoos that can turn into tentacles. Not much for wings, but I think that is because of the so much crappy SPN wingfic. Hrm. That is all I can think of off the top of my head.

I love "A Memory of Europe". And as a big Cecil/Carlos shipper, "Fist Date"... the image of Cecil and Carlos walking arm-in-arm through the park while other Night Valians are running in terror... (-:

I have a fairly specific head-canon for Cecil's appearance, partially because I'm writing fanfic, so I need to have an idea in my head when I want to describe him. (-:

I forgot about the Europe one! I liked that too. The descriptions of the countries were really unique and felt kind of like a cool text adventure game.

Oh, the Europe stories were sooooo creepy. Makes me not want to travel. It also shows (if Cecil is to be believed) that there are other places like Night Vale and Desert Bluffs!

Honestly, about halfway through that episode, I was like: "So... is Cecil schizophrenic?" And I don't say that jokingly; I started to wonder if the reason Night Vake is so weird is not that it really is, but that this is how Cecil sees things...

It would make for an interesting story, the only problem is that we have heard some other voices (Carlos for one). So other people are aware of some of the crazy stuff he talks about. Unless Cecil is doing all their voices and has DID. D:

Yeah, between Carlos in ep 16 and Kevin in ep 19b, there do seem to be other people who acknowledge how weird Night Vale is.

Don't forget the part where Carlos is Doing Science and Cecil just strokes his cheek.

I'm the same with Cecil's appearance and I feel the same about the tattoos vs. wings thing.

I genuinely like it when Cecil's manifestations don't make him very powerful. I prefer him around human power level.

I don't think I have read many "powerful Cecil" fics. Most of them have his manifestations being goofy or (my favorite) something he has to submit forms to use. XD

Yeah, I wasn't aware that that was a thing, either. Even with odd/inhuman features, I've never heard of anyone suggesting Cecil has superhuman powers or abilities.

I read one where he used his "true form" to scare someone, but never any thing powerful (mostly because I think he is sort of a pacifist).

In 19A he does talk about not killing his double because violence isn't the answer (it is a question; the real answer is far more terrifying), so that's does fit with canon. (-:

Some make him a super powerful eldritch abomination or some sort or a manifestation of the town itself.

Oh! I think I have read some of those! Okay, yeah I know what you are talking about. I don't care either or. Right now the fandom is too small for me to be picky. :P

I tried them out and it was okay but I think I'm reading it right now only because there are so few Night Vale fics.

1. My favorite episode: Either "A Memory of Europe" or "First Date".

2. My favorite characters (other than Cecil and Carlos): Dana the Intern (or her double), who's stuck in the Dog Park.

3. Favorite topic Cecil talks about: Anything that gets him excited or upset/annoyed; like mooning over Carlos or getting pissed off at the Apache Tracker. I love the low-key, deadpan delivery, but it's nice when he gets emotional about things, too.

4. My favorite quote: "If you love someone set them free. Set them free now. This is the police, and we have you surrounded."

Dana is a beast. I think she is the only intern still alive? Well there is the one in the tree but...

And I love listening to Cecil's excited to talk about Carlos voice. But I think the best is when he says STEVE CARLSBURG! I just imagine him breaking a pencil and gritting his teeth.

I love the headcanon I've seen from a couple people that Dana has been Chosen, and her stint in the dog park is her being tested/trained to ascend to some higher office, possibly taking over for Cecil once he retires.

When he and Carlos marry and retire to the "house that should be there but isn't." ♥‿♥

Carlos finally gets the nerve to ring the doorbell, and one of the angels opens the door and says, "Come on in; we've just about got it all fixed up for you."

/gasp And once they get in it, the house becomes real. It becomes...a home.

I am so cheesy.
