I'd like to believe that there are several dozen John Peters running around Night Vale, and that while the other ones never do anything newsworthy, Cecil still has to specify each time.

I live in Tucson, land of rivers-that-are-only-rivers sometimes. The waterless waterfront delights me.

TUCSON IS EXACTLY WHAT I'M PICTURING NIGHT VALE AS.

(I did a semester abroad there. Between the main road and the house I was living at, in western Tucson, was an arroyo. Had to wade down it once. First day on campus, I had to wade across a knee-deep street and almost lost my sandals... anyway. I have totally been picturing a smaller, weirder Tucson.)
